Lady Gouldian Finches

I am devoting this page to Lady Gouldian finches. I love Lady Gouldians because they have the prettiest color combinations. The RH-PB-GB actually reminds me of a rainbow and of Jeff Gordon's car. Some people refer to these birds as "Rainbow birds."

Below are some pictures of some of my favorite colors of gouldians.

The head colors of the Lady Gouldians that I have are: Red (RH), Black(BH), and Yellow(YH), which most people refer to as Orange.

The breast colors are: Lilac (LB), White(WB), and Purple(PB).

The back colors are: Green/Normal(N), Yellow(YB), Dilute(DB), Blue(BB), Pastel, and Silver. There are also splits such as split to blue, which I will note as (/blue).

I will only sell the gouldians after they have completely colored in. I band them with colored bands to identify parents. I also keep a log of my gouldians in an Excel program.

My prices for Gouldians are as follows. All Green(normal) backs are $70, Split/Blues and Dilutes are $100, Yellowbacks are $120, Bluebacks are $150 and Pastels $200 and Silvers are $300.

I call this one Mr. Blue. He is a very pretty shade of blue. He is RH-PB-BB.

This is a YH-LB-N. He is virbrantly colored.

This is one of my first dilutes. He is BH-PB-DB. The black head color on a dilute will appear as grey.
